Position: Warehouse Worker – O’Connor Hardware and Farm Feed
Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and professional Warehouse Worker to join our team at O’Connor Hardware and Farm Feed. This role involves physically handling and organizing feed products, managing inventory, assisting customers, and operating store equipment. Our company offers ample room for growth, and there is potential for advancement and opportunities in other roles as they become available.
Responsibilities:
Lift, organize, and store feed products.
Receive and put away feed deliveries.
Operate a pump jack to move products safely.
Receive shipments from delivery trucks.
Load feed and supplies into customer vehicles.
Assist customers in-store and over the phone.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Learn and operate the cash register efficiently.
Qualifications:
Candidates with a background in farming and/or knowledge of hardware store products and services will be preferred.
Physically able to lift and move heavy items. Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs required.
Comfortable using equipment such as a pump jack.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Trustworthy, responsible, and professional work ethic.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Compensation:
$18 to $20 per hour, based on experience.
